Block Party Challenge The Coppell Greens Social Committee has devised another fun way to get to know your neighbors: Resident supported block parties! The rules are simple: you must organize a block party for your street and have at least half of the residents in attendance. How you organize the party is completely up to you...make it a potluck or you provide the pizzas and everyone else bring sides, desserts, or drinks.... You take pictures documenting the block party and how many were in attendance and you will receive a $100 gift card to Wal-Mart for organizing the event. One of the best security measures is getting to know your neighbors, knowing their vehicles, getting their phone numbers and being able to communicate with one another if there is a break-in or fire on your street. We are currently having the perfect weather to enjoy an old-fashioned block party--so start organizing yours today!
